Sound effects are important in movies because sound effects add another layer of depth and emotion to the film that cannot be achieved through visuals alone, a recorder, microphone or mixer is best for production work.

What does the teach us about how we hear sounds? The video teaches us how our ears work and that there are 3 parts of our ears, they are the pinna the ear canal that leads to the eardrum and past that there’s cochlea, the pinna picks up the sound that then goes through the ear canal to the eardrums that vibrates little bones the goes to the cochlea it sends the vibrations to the brain that decodes it to make sound.

Read and understand the facts on Sound facts. Create a Kahoot quiz to test the knowledge of your other group members about the facts.

Read and understand the information on Science facts about sound. Create a short movie or animation about some of the facts from Science sounds. You do not have to include all the facts in your movie or animation as some of your group members will be doing other facts.
